Plane Carrying Pete Hegseth Required to Land in UK Due to Crack in Windshield
A plane transporting the US defense secretary was compelled to make an unscheduled landing in the Britain on Wednesday due to a fissure was discovered in the plane's windshield, as stated by an announcement which stated that Hegseth was safe.
"The jet landed in accordance with standard protocol and all individuals on the flight, among them Secretary Hegseth, is unharmed," an official representative commented in a public statement.
The secretary was coming back from a brief trip to the Belgian capital during the flight.
This incident is not the first occasion that a US military aircraft carrying a top government figure has experienced mechanical issues.
In a previous incident this year, a United States Air Force aircraft ferrying Marco Rubio to Munich was required to return to Washington DC after experiencing a mechanical problem.
