Actor Rejects Anti-Vaxxer Views After Lending His Voice To Disputed Coronavirus Documentary

The acclaimed actor has provided his vocal talents to a recent film that casts doubt on the safety of vaccinations and commends one-time cabinet secretary Robert F Kennedy Jr.

The Feature's Disputed Origins

Titled "Plague of Corruption," the project is adapted from a well-known publication published by a disgraced researcher, who gained notoriety during the global outbreak for claims that the virus was caused by a faulty batch of the flu vaccine.

The publication's collaborator, the executive producer, has previously authored books with controversial figure the Infowars host. Heckenlively wrote online praising Neeson's participation in the project.

A Strong Statement

The team of Neeson have provided a comment pushing back against suggestions that he supports anti-vax beliefs.

"Everyone can understand that misconduct can exist within the medical sector, but that should never be conflated with opposition to vaccines," the statement reads. "He is not, and cannot be described as, anti-vax. His long work with the UN children's agency underscores his enduring support for public-health initiatives."

It added that the performer did not shape the film's narrative and that concerns about its assertions ought to go to the producers.

Central Themes Featured in the Feature

As presented, the narration spoken by Neeson makes several controversial points:

  • It suggests that pro-immunization voices have called for "complete compliance" to government bodies.
  • It posits that "research has become dangerously influenced by politics."
  • RFK Jr is featured saying, "The core flaw with vaccines is that they simply are not safely tested."
  • The film takes aim at Covid lockdowns, arguing they caused mental anguish that led to the loss of thousands of lives.
  • On the topic of Covid vaccines, it references a perspective that they were "rushed to market" and seen as "dangerous experiments."

Historical Context and Recent Disputes

The film also references a past television report about clinical trials on children, which was subsequently the topic of a correction by the corporation for violations of guidelines.

Recently, Kennedy called on the CDC to change its long-held position that there is no connection between immunizations and autism spectrum disorder. This assertion is also referenced in the documentary, contrary to a fresh analysis from the World Health Organisation confirming no evidence has been found.

A Past Record of Endorsement

Differing from the film's tone, Neeson has previously shown strong support for vaccines in his role as a Unicef global ambassador.

Previously, he called vaccines as "a remarkable human success story," adding that "The conversation about vaccines in lately has forgotten how much good they have done... It is perhaps one of the biggest shared accomplishments in history."

The documentary ends with Neeson's script proclaiming, "This isn't the end of our story. Rather, it is the beginning of a new chapter."
